ACCUWEIGH BATCH WEIGHER
Introduction
A micro-controller based batching system for accurate weighment of Dryer-Mouth Tea.
Operation
Tea from the feed conveyor falls directly into the storage hopper from where it falls into the weigh hopper. When the set quantity of tea gets collected in the weigh hopper, the outlet of the storage hopper closes and that of the weigh hopper opens till the weigh hopper gets emptied completely. The tea thus discharged may be collected on a conveyor. The cycle of weighment continues endlessly. The total amount of tea thus weighed is automatically recorded in the totaliser. The printer (optional) prints out the totalised weight on command.
